But for applications that need to cover more area, the company’s Long Super Air Knives are the ideal solution. They offer the same advantages as the Super Air Knives, but in a wider span up to 2,743 millimetres (108 inches) in length.

One piece: All knives feature one-piece construction, which ensures seamless airflow and eliminates coupling multiple shorter length air knives together. This one-piece construction also decreases the overall height of the unit by ½ inch, making it better for use in tight spaces. 

Energy efficient: Even though the Long Super Air Knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry or cool wide surfaces up to 2,743 millimetres (108 inches), they still remain energy efficient. This is thanks to their design, which minimizes compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air.

Easily adjustable: The Long Super Air Knives provide a uniform, high volume, high velocity curtain of air. This air can be adjusted from a gentle blowing force to a hard-hitting blast of air.

Compact: The air knives feature a compact profile (1.75 inches by 1.44 inches), with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom. This enables easy mounting in tight spaces.

Maintenance-free: The Long Super Air Knife has no moving parts to wear out, making it maintenance-free.

Additional details

Long Super Air Knives come in a variety of sizes. They are available in 1,524-, 1,829-, 2,134-, 2,438- and 2,743-millimetre lengths (60-, 72-, 84-, 96- and 108-inch lengths). The units are CE compliant, and ship from stock in a choice of aluminum, Type 303 or Type 316 stainless steel. They are ideal for use on wide parts, webs and conveyors.
