Hytrol’s Model 199-CRR live roller conveyor has earned a reputation for reliability. Many companies depend on this quality conveyor to move light- to medium-duty loads in environments where belt-driven live roller conveyors are not suitable.

Ideal applications

The Model 199-CRR live roller conveyor is ideally suited for those applications where, for example, the parts may be oily, preventing belts from driving the rollers. It’s suitable for these environments because the rollers in the 199-CRR are positively driven with chains roll-to-roll and, therefore, the drive is not affected by oily conditions.

The rollers are driven with chains and sprockets located on the end of the rollers. This leaves the conveying surface area beneath the rollers open, allowing particles from machining operations to fall through the conveyor without being harmful to the conveyor operation. This feature also makes the 199-CRR design ideal for handling, for example, returned automotive parts where dirt, sand and/or oil are present.

Conveyor details

These conveyors are available in a range of sizes, so they can match the specific requirements of a variety of applications. Eleven standard widths, from 18 to 42 inches, are available, in capacities up to 150 pounds per foot with supports on 10-foot centres, or 250 pounds per foot with supports on five-foot centres and four-inch roller centres. An underside drive or shaft-mounted drive is also available for low elevation and low maintenance. The rollers are constructed of heavy wall tubing located on six-inch centres for handling metal items, or four-inch centres for smaller items.
