The details

York’s 500 Series is made from Polypropylene melt blown microfibres and features a unique multi-layer construction, which facilitates very fine particle capture. In fact, all York 500 Series Liquid Filter Bags are more than 95 per cent efficient at their suggested micron rating. 

The bags contain more than 32 square feet of usable filter media, compared to only 4.4 square feet for traditional filter bags and only .65 square feet for most cartridges. 

The York 500 Series High Performance Liquid Filter Bags can also absorb unwanted trace oils that commonly occur in processed fluids, and have the capability to hold 15 to 25 times the filter’s own weight.

In addition, the bags are a good fit for food and beverage applications, as they comply with FDA regulations governing food and beverage contact.
