EXAIR offers two kinds of liquid-atomizing nozzles.

EXAIR Corporation is known to businesses across the continent for its unmatched (and always expanding) portfolio of industrial compressed-air equipment. But the company also offers two designs of liquid-atomizing spray nozzles – the FullStream and HollowStream Cone models. No air is required to operate either of these innovative spray nozzles.

Compared to the EXAIR line of air-atomizing spray nozzles, these liquid-atomizing nozzles generate more liquid volume while creating a coarse spray pattern.

For cleaning, cooling, dust suppression

These nozzles produce droplets by spinning the fluid and breaking its surface tension via a precision orifice or by impacting the liquid onto a surface of the nozzle. The higher liquid flow rates are a significant advantage in cleaning, cooling, rinsing, dust suppression, washing, and other common industrial tasks. Many liquid-atomizing spray nozzles function at their best when they are spraying fluid that contains particulate or is a slurry.

As good general-purpose nozzles for industry, these liquid-atomizing spray nozzles are used most frequently with inexpensive liquids such as water, rinse aids, or detergents, and they are also very effective when used with chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides. The user can easily adjust the rate of the liquid flow by changing the liquid pressure, but without the same adjustability or refinement that comes with EXAIR air-atomizing spray nozzles. Another key benefit of these liquid-atomizing nozzles is their smaller footprint, which enables mounting in confined spaces and with less plumbing needed, as no air line is required.

Built out of Type 303 stainless steel, EXAIR liquid-atomizing spray nozzles are durable and rugged units with no moving parts to wear out, and they work in operating temperatures of up to 427 degrees Celsius. They are available in various sizes, comply with the European CE health and safety standard, and come with a five-year Built to Last Warranty. EXAIR liquid-atomizing spray nozzles perfectly complement the company’s large line of air-atomizing and No Drop air-atomizing spray nozzles.

Headquartered in Cincinnati, EXAIR has designed, manufactured, and supplied industrial compressed-air solutions since 1983. Other products available include static eliminators, cabinet coolers, air guns, air knives, air amplifiers, and many more options.
