Lineup of drag-resistant hoses ideal for leaf collection

UVD

Hi-Tech’s UVD hose is the newest addition to its lineup. Ideal for use with lawn mowers and leaf collectors, this hose is made from a polyurethane vinyl blend and reinforced with an industrial PVC helix. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 82 degrees C, and is available in diameters up to 10 inches.

TBH-W

Constructed of 100 per cent polypropylene, the TBH-W hose features a wire helix and a polypropylene wearstrip that provides greater wear resistance in applications where the hose may be dragged. The wearstrip is molecularly bonded to the hose, so it will not delaminate. The hose offers excellent tear, abrasion, moisture and drag resistance, so it’s ideal for leaf and lawn collection applications. It is available in diameters up to 12 inches, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 107 degrees C.

RFH-W

This model is made of thermoplastic rubber, and is reinforced with a wire helix and an external polypropylene wearstrip that helps prevent premature wear. It also offers resistance to abrasion. Ideal for applications in temperatures ranging from -51 to 135 degrees C, particularly where dragging is involved, the RFH-W hose is also available in a heavier wall for more demanding applications. Like the TBH-W, it comes in diameters up to 12 inches.

UFD

The UFD hose is designed to handle higher pressure and vacuums than standard ducting. It is constructed of thermoplastic polyurethane and reinforced with a wire helix, offering excellent abrasion and flex fatigue resistance. The clear model allows users to easily locate blockages. It is ideal for environments with temperatures ranging from -54 to 93 degrees C, and is available in diameters up to 12 inches. Model UFD-AP is clear with a safety yellow helix. It is lightweight, highly flexible, and a suitable replacement for thicker walled EPDM hoses. This model is available in diameters up to eight inches.
