The Atlas foot switch by Linemaster

For the top selection of industrial foot switches in the continent, businesses rely on Linemaster Switch Corporation. A great option for domestic original-equipment manufacturers that want to expand their export business, or overseas manufacturers that need top quality, is the Atlas heavy-duty foot switch, renowned for its durability and dependable performance.

The Atlas foot switch is built to handle the most challenging industrial and commercial applications and work conditions.

Snap action with forced disconnect

With its legendary performance and strength, the Atlas makes these tasks far easier and more effective. It offers a snap action with forced disconnect (positive break) on Normally Closed (NC) contacts, which complies with both American and European standards. Another key feature is the side entry design, which Linemaster developed to support multi-pedal requests.

Other major advantages and benefits of the Atlas heavy-duty foot switch: a slow action mechanism with forced disconnect on the NC contacts, available as SPDT make-before-break or break-before-make; direct PLC interface compatibility, with two-circuit bifurcated contact single-pole versions; galvanically isolated bifurcated contacts, for which Normally Open (NO) and NC circuits can be wired to different loads and polarities; and oversized “O” and “OX” shield models that accept oversized safety shoes and metatarsal foot guards. (The “OX” shield has an extra 19.1-millimetre opening height over the “O” shield.)

The Atlas offers a larger foot pedal for more positive control, and the single PG 16 threaded conduit entry is standard for the United States; other international conduit sizes and side entry for twin and triple interconnect are available via special order. Three holes are provided for rigid mounting to equipment or a floor.

Linemaster offers four different models in the Atlas series: a no-shield version, weighing 4½ pounds and measuring 3½ by 4.29 by 8.55 inches; the full-shield model, which weights five pounds and measures 4.7 by 5.88 by 9.06 inches; the “O” shield, weighing 5¼ pounds and measuring 5.37 by 5.88 by 9.13 inches; and the “OX” shield, which weighs 5½ and measures 6.12 by 6.03 by 9.13 inches. All of them have an IP68 degree of protection.
