The RF Twin Aero Wireless foot switch by Linemaster

The newest innovation from the Linemaster Switch Corporation portfolio of foot switches is the RF Twin Aero Wireless. Like the rest of the Aero Channel series, the RF Twin Aero Wireless brings a fresh, modern look to the foot-switch field, with a compact design featuring curved edges that shed liquids.

This digital switch is equipped to accommodate the popular Linemaster Aquiline pedal series, as well as the Flip-Up pedal design.

With moulded handle feature

Made from robust, high-impact polymer, the RF Twin Aero Wireless withstands the abuse of many relevant applications. It comes standard with a moulded handle feature that makes picking the foot pedal off the floor easier – and also serves as cord-wrapping aid. This Linemaster switch measures only 1.92 by 11.44 by 8.42 inches and weighs only five pounds.

Other features and benefits of this unique wireless switch:

  • 2.4 gigahertz of power;
  • channel hopping;
  • compliance with 802.15.4 and IEC 60601 (third edition);
  • automatic RF power-level adjustment of transmitter;
  • IP68 degree of protection for foot pedal, making the transmitter waterproof;
  • IPX1 degree of protection for the receiver;
  • standard range of 50 feet;
  • typical latency of less than 47 milliseconds;
  • power from industry-standard AA alkaline batteries;
  • no need for cords;
  • retrofitting for most existing equipment;
  • no product calibration necessary, as users can plug and go;
  • submersible transmitter foot pedal for simpler cleaning; and
  • security of dual-level CRC 16, plus encrypted CRC-24 bit.

The RF Twin Aero Wireless also has flip-up covers to make cleaning easier, as well as three receiver options – built-in, external with cable, or dongle. A mode change switch is available, and the transmitter foot pedal has a battery life of up to 2,000 hours and 50 per cent duty cycle. The foot switch offers standard power consumption: the transmitter has stand-by 2ua standard power requirements, while the receiver has six VDC at 200 ma, with other optional voltages.

Other advantages: a transmitter low-battery indicator, a receiver switch-activation indicator, and high-impact plastic wiring channel and receiver housing.
