The Linemaster Classic II foot switch, unguarded

Industrial foot switches are the specialty of Linemaster Switch Corporation, with a wide portfolio of models. This includes three types of Classic foot switches – the Classic II, Classic IV, and Classic IV Wired Linear units. What these models have in common is that they share the traditional Linemaster design and appearance – but defy expectations with state-of-the-art technology and reliability. These foot switches suit a broad variety of industries.

With guarded and unguarded options

With a rugged cast aluminum housing that provides an IP56 degree of protection, the Linemaster Classic II series offers the second generation of the Classic pedal family. Standard Classic II models include guarded and unguarded options; each guarded unit has a heavy gauge steel full guard that covers the whole switch for extra foot protection and prevents faulty actuation.

Among the Classic II features: cast aluminum body and treadle, with steel base plate and nonskid base pad; single ¾-inch, 14 NPT threaded conduit entry; single-stage momentary contact; two holes for rigid mounting to floor equipment; and NEMA Type 1, 2, 4, and 13 environment protection. The versatility of this switch makes it a great choice for many purposes. The guarded single model weighs 2¾ pounds and measures 5.19 by 5.9 by 7.27 inches, while the unguarded version weights 1½ pounds and measures 2¼ by 3½ by 6.2 inches.

Linemaster’s Classic IV series is available in single and twin models, guarded or unguarded, and works for applications from the medical field to medium-duty industrial tasks. Its rugged cast aluminum housing provides waterproof IP68 protection, and its environment protection adds NEMA 6 and 6P onto the Classic II types. Other features include one-piece cast aluminum housing, single-stage momentary contact, and non-skid feet to minimize movement. Custom variations built according to specifications are available.

The Classic IV switch also comes in a Wired Linear version. It provides the option of up to two additional auxiliary button switches, which works for many scenarios. The Hall Effect sensors ensure high reliability, no mechanical interface, smooth linearity, and no dead spots.
