A low-profile, lightweight solution

The Linear Slim-Line switch is a compact, low-profile, lightweight solution that is built of high-impact plastic. It features a cover and base made of ABS polymeric plastic and comes in light grey, yellow, and blue colours, plus stock colour options. Linemaster offers the Slim-Line in diecast metal or robust polymeric plastic, with internal adjustable strain relief for the cord.

Other key features of the Linear Slim-Line model: non-skid base feet; mounting holes for mounting the unit to equipment or the floor; raised dimples on the cover, for positive traction during operation; and ten millimetres (mm) of linear travel.

Like the Slim-Line, the Linear Aquiline model has a compact design. But Linemaster offers the Aquiline in both plastic and a metal variation. This foot switch has raised treadle ribs on the cover for positive traction during use, as well as a non-skid base pad, and users get 20 mm of linear travel from it.

The linear output options of the Aquiline model include one per cent nominal linearity, voltage of 256 bit resolution, current of 256 bit resolution, 256 Tap digital potentiometers (5K, 10K, 50K, 100K), and serial RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485. The switch is independently addressable for multi-drop networks.

Among the other Aquiline features: optional digital output with solid state switch (maximum one Amp), optional internal pull-up resistor, and pre-set set point and hysteresis (user-specified); optional magnetic cancellation circuit, for use in proximity or MRI equipment; and power supply with wide operating range, five to 15 VDC with low power consumption. Customers can request multi-pedal models and various colours, and the unit is waterproof to an IP68 degree of protection.
