When an application calls for a centrifugal immersion pump with maximum efficiency and a robust, reliable construction, Flux Pumps has the solution. In fact, it has multiple solutions.

The manufacturer’s line of centrifugal immersion pumps provides the ultimate in process security, especially for transferring corrosive or abrasive fluids for many applications, ranging from chemical engineering and electroplating, to PCB manufacturing or fresh and waste water treatment.

  • Its Type F 620 S pump with mechanical seal is designed for transferring low flammability liquids from containers, either open topped or closed. It consists of an inner tube, outer tube and an open conical impeller. The drive shaft is supported within the inner tube. It comes in two sizes.
  • Its Type F 640 PP pump with mechanical seal is designed for transferring larger volumes of low flammability liquids from containers, either open topped or closed, tanks, reservoirs, etc. It consists of an inner tube, outer tube, open conical impeller or closed centrifugal impeller. The drive shaft is supported within the inner tube. A steel cored inner tube in PP provides the ultimate in stability, preventing elongation of the plastic at high temperatures. Four sizes are available.
  • Type F 726 PP and PDVF are designed for extreme operating conditions. The pumps transfer neutral or corrosive liquids for the chemical industry and chemical engineering, electroplating, steel or stainless steel pickling plants, flue gas decontamination, exhaust air purification, and fresh and waste water treatment. They feature a free flying pump shaft without any seals or bearings in contact with the liquid. The pumps are designed for smooth operation, even under heavy load, thanks to a robust pump shaft supported in an upper pedestal. Four sizes are available.

These are just a few of the centrifugal immersion pump options from Flux Pumps, available through Brampton, Ont.-based York Fluid Controls. To learn more about the full line of pumps, contact York Fluid Controls.
