Acuity’s AccuRange 2000 Laser Distance Meter is the ideal solution when the application calls for accurate measurements across distances up to 500 metres, on hot surfaces or in bright lights. Available in Canada from Durham Instruments, the AR2000 offers a reliable performance thanks to its many best-in-class features.

Highly accurate: The meter offers measurement accuracy of one millimetre (.04 inches), and features a visible measuring beam to ensure you have the right target.

Versatile: It is designed to work extremely well outdoors, in bright lights, and on hot targets. Measurement targets can be almost any natural surface, including liquids or reflectors, making it the perfect laser for a wide range of applications. With a measurement frequency of up to 100 Hz and an operating temperature range between -40 and 60 degrees C, it is suitable for measuring the position of cranes, or the length of lumber, pipe, bricks and other targets. It is also capable of measuring the position of hot metal targets, such as steel and aluminum.

Easy integration: Like all of Acuity's laser sensors, the AR2000 is easy to integrate into industrial automation and measurement systems thanks to their industrial standard interfaces.

Convenient data display: Acuity AR2000 sensors are equipped with an OLED display and touch keys. They also feature digital and analog data output and trigger functionality.

Thanks to these features and more, Acuity’s AccuRange 2000 Laser Distance Meter is a top choice for many industries and applications. To learn more, contact Durham Instruments. The Pickering, Ont.-based distributor carries a wide selection of Acuity’s laser and linear position sensor products.
