Lakos high-efficiency separator available from John Brooks Company

Lakos has unveiled a higher efficiency version of its JPX Separator — the ePJX high-efficiency liquid-solid separator. This newest version provides fine — up to 98 per cent of 44 micron and larger — particle removal in a single pass using centrifugal action for industrial applications. The results are greater solids removal, lower maintenance and a decrease in unexpected downtime.

Available from John Brooks Company Limited, ePJX features:

• No moving parts to wear out, and no barriers or media to replace;
• Low and steady pressure loss (as low as five psi); 
• Continuous filtration and no backwashing; and
• A SmartPurge port built into each model that allows for quick installation of the SmartPurge System.

The Lakos eJPX separators can help prevent solids blockage in spray nozzles, heat exchangers and any small orifices; solids accumulation in pits, sumps and basins; and pre-filter solids in a water system so finer filtration can operate more effectively.

It is available in vertical and low-profile configurations.

Lakos separators have been tested and certified by an independent testing agency, the International Center for Water Technology (ICWT), confirming its separators’ filtration performance and capability to remove troublesome particle matter from pumped water.
