L. & M. Precision Products proudly ISO 9001-certified for 18 years

L. & M. Precision Products has been ISO registered since 1997, and consistently meets or exceeds regular ISO re-certification requirements. The Toronto-based manufacturer of precision machined products is audited yearly by ISO registrar PriceWaterHouseCoopers to ensure quality management systems are continuously compliant to the ISO quality standards. Its latest re-certification took place in June 2015. 

“Customer satisfaction is the main goal,” the company explains. “No product will be shipped to the customers until the product quality conforms to the customer’s specifications with assurance. Management will assess the effectiveness of the quality management system on a regular basis, and direct internal efforts towards continual improvement.”

The quality assurance process

Quality assurance processes at L. & M. start before the job has begun, and don't end until the customer receives the finished product. It is a process that every employee is involved in, from up-front estimation and engineering, through to production, shipping and delivery.

L. & M. Precision Products also has a fully equipped quality assurance department with a dedicated team of qualified professionals, committed to ensuring the production of parts to the high level of quality the company's customers have grown to expect. This process includes regularly calibrating gauges and scales to ensure products are correctly sampled for quality purposes. In addition, the team conducts regular sampling before and during product runs to ensure specifications are met.
