A versatile range of expertise

L. & M.’s versatile range of expertise stretches beyond basic precision machined products like nuts and bolts. The firm’s machinists are also extremely capable of producing welding components and assemblies, connectors, fittings, fasteners, bushings, washers, spacers, threaded parts, and much more. Their abilities also include producing components used in display, appliances, plumbing, and electronics that service all sectors, including the oilfields, welding, the automotive industry, aerospace, healthcare, and so many more. These custom products can be produced in a wide range of sizes, and from low to high volume. Annual volumes based on a release schedule is L. & M.’s specialty.

It is not just the products themselves that are diverse, but also the materials that L. & M. uses to make them. The company has more than half a century of experience in machining stainless steel, steel, aluminum, copper alloys, titanium, lead-free brass, and other metals, as well as plastics like nylon and Teflon.

A variety of finishing processes are also available from L. & M., via outside processing. The company frequently works with certified subcontractors for several kinds of plating, including nickel, tin, zinc, chrome, and silver. Other possible processes include electroless nickel, magni coating, black oxide, anodizing, and heat treating.
