industrial manometers

Chevrier Instruments supplies vertical-column and inclined-column manometers by KIMO.

KIMO Instruments manufactures an impressive variety of industrial measuring devices, all available in Canada from Chevrier Instruments. This portfolio includes several types of industrial manometers, an ideal pick for measuring differential pressure. Both vertical-column and inclined-column designs are available, and both kinds have many advantageous features for different pressure-measurement applications.

In addition to these products, KIMO makes two series of portable liquid column industrial manometers, which are easy to carry.

Suited for many applications

Chevrier offers two distinct series of KIMO vertical-column manometers. The TJ series is designed for measuring changes in pressure, depression, or differential pressure in air and gas. The measurement ranges of these instruments depend on the types of manometric liquid that are used; options include AWS 10, Volt 1S, and mercury. These manometers have such features as a J-shaped column that enables direct measuring and a slide strip for zero adjustment. They are suitable for fixed applications with any manometric liquid or in portable tasks involving VOLT 1S liquid. Each comes with multiple accessories, including two 487 connectors, a liquid bottle, and a white PVC support.

The LU series of vertical-column manometers has all of the same TJ advantages, but each has a U-shaped column for measuring consecutively positive and negative pressures.

KIMO also manufactures three series of inclined-column industrial manometers, including the HP series, which is perfect for measuring overpressures in such environments as clean rooms, laboratories, aseptic rooms, operating blocks, and laminar flows. These models offer high sensitivity measurement and very low pressure ranges, along with an integrated spirit level that enables horizontal adjustment. Each comes with a bottle of AWS 10 liquid.

The TX series is similar to the HP devices, but include scales with centred zero to measure both positive and negative pressures. Finally, the MT 40 series of inclined-column manometers are constructed to offer portability. These models are ideal for applications in the heating trade, including checking pressures in filters, chimney flues, and combustion chambers. Easy to carry, these manometers each come with a travelling case and have magnetic fixations and supports with base plates.
