Alps Welding makes a wide range of equipment, from tanks and pressure vessels to reactors and cooling towers. These standards from the ASME International Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code relate to the design, fabrication, inspection, testing and certification of pressure vessels. The guidelines ensure that pressure vessels are built to safely handle extreme pressure and years of service. The company applies these same high standards and stringent quality program to every project.  

ASME pressure vessel code

The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code first originated in 1914, and has been adopted in part or in its entirety by each province in Canada and all 50 states. Its standards are considered essential in a variety of industries. 

The standards include guidelines regarding appropriate materials, QA programs, pressure relief devices, fittings, hex bolts, screw threads, flange joint assemblies, the qualifications for authorized inspections, repair of pressure equipment and piping, and more.
