pneumatic nutrunners

Dobco supplies Chicago Pneumatic's CP66 series of pneumatic nutrunners.

Dobco Equipment partners with many manufacturers to bring world-class industrial tools to the Canadian marketplace. One example is Chicago Pneumatic, which makes the acclaimed CP66 series of pneumatic nutrunners. These are robust, accurate instruments with many notable features, ideal for tasks that require efficient tightening and loosening of nuts and bolts.

Chicago Pneumatic recommends these nutrunners for flange-related and other bolting applications in such industries as oil and gas, power generation, and wind energy; they are also a powerful alternative to impact wrenches in maintenance and repair operations.

Ergonomic, accurate, compact, and robust

The CP66 family of pneumatic nutrunners offers many advantages. One is their lightweight and ergonomic design. Their gearboxes are among the smallest of any nutrunners available, and each has a special grip that allows for one-finger reverse mode and a swivelling handle. Each unit also has a strong-low-weight reaction arms, which results in less user strain.

A second key benefit is their accuracy. CP66 pneumatic nutrunners offer a tightening accuracy of plus or minus five per cent, and they enable high air-pressure adjustment with a digital gauge, the Air Torque Control FRL PACK. Each has an industrial calibrated digital gauge for highly precise pressure-setup and pressure-drop display.

Third, these nutrunners are robust tools, featuring protective covers with integrated bumpers. Each also has a gearbox that runs for 13,000 cycles before needing maintenance. The CP66 series has continuous rotation for heavy-duty fastening, as well as a vane-type, high-performance, impact-wrench air motor.

The CP66 series includes three different models, all available from Dobco, with varying speeds, sound-pressure levels, and torques to meet the needs of many specific applications; they can also work with different bolt sizes. These nutrunners comply with the exacting ISO 28927-2 and 15744 standards for noise and vibration emissions too. Optional accessories include sliding drives, steel space bars, square brackets, and suspension yokes.
