Half a century: that’s how long Ken Forging has been in business. We’ve provided the best drop-forged hardware for businesses in various industries around the world since the early 1970s. While we have grown steadily over that time, our momentum isn’t slowing down. Ken Forging continues to expand its product lines and machinery to ensure that it will satisfy clients far into the future.

When our company began, it specialized in die cutting. Today, Ken Forging offers a broad range of drop-forged hardware: D-rings, eyebolts, eye nuts, pad eyes, rod ends, turnbuckles, swivel hoist rings, and more. Our workers have access to a wide variety of drop-forging equipment in our 450,000-square-foot facility in Jefferson, OH, enabling them to create all sizes of hardware. Recently, we’ve added larger hammers to our Forge Department, now ranging in size from 1,600 to 20,000 pounds, enabling us to produce custom forgings from five ounces up to 250 pounds.

A new C-clamp line

Ken Forging’s portfolio keeps expanding too. Last year, we acquired a new line of C-clamps, all domestically manufactured with American steel with full traceability. Other product lines that we’ve recently expanded include metric swivel hoist rings, fine-thread zinc-plated eyebolts, new sizes of rod ends, and 316 stainless steel eyebolts.

But an expanding product line is not the only reason we’ve lasted so long and will continue to last. We’ve always made a commitment to produce forgings with the highest level of quality attainable. We offer 100 per cent traceability and lot control for quality-control purposes.

Finally, the customer’s needs come first. Our multitude of in-house operations enables us to provide the highest-quality drop-forged hardware for distributor-based customers in record turnaround times. Our completely integrated plant provides a complete range of services – for example, no minimum-order amount and immediate delivery from stock – effectively acting as a one-stop shop for forgings. We hold a six-month supply of all in-stock items to ensure quick delivery.
