Fastener Tech ‘17 is less than two months away. The event, which will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., on June 5-7, attracts fastener manufacturers, importers, service companies and manufacturers of fastener machinery. The show also offers educational and networking opportunities.
Ken Forging is proud to be one of the event’s many exhibitors.
Opportunities await
This biannual event, which started in 2007, is the largest fastener show in the midwest, and is a one-stop source for both products and information in the fastener industry. In addition to the many products that will be showcased from leading manufacturers, and the networking opportunities available, Fastener Tech provides information on some of the industry’s greatest challenges. For example, the event kicks off with a seminar on why fasteners fail. This session will give real world examples of fastener failures, and address failures in service due to improper selection, design, installation and corrosion. In addition, the relationship between design characteristics and manufacturing will be discussed.
Additional seminar topics include an introduction to coiled spring pins, the fundamentals of fastener manufacturing, insights into the global market for fasteners, training, sales and more.
