drop-forged hardware products

Ken Forging's already impressive lineup of hardware items is expected to grow this year.

2020 has begun, putting us at the start of a new decade – and also the start of Ken Forging’s 50th-anniverary year. Our company continues to welcome old and new customers to our unsurpassed selection of drop-forged hardware products. And this year will be a busy one. We look forward to new horizons with additional products in our portfolio and three exciting trade shows.

We have already expanded our production capabilities with larger hammers and presses in our forging department. With these larger forging capabilities, we can manufacture larger-stock products, plus custom forgings of up to 250 pounds. As the year moves on, we expect to see our catalogue of drop-forged hardware products grow, with new options for eyebolts, metric swivel hoist rings, rod ends, eye nuts, and more.

These Ken Forging products and others will be showcased at the following trade shows this year:

  • Fastener Fair. May 18 to 20, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, NC. On for the third straight year, this is the only exhibition in the United States dedicated to the full supply chain of fasteners.
  • MWFA’s 39th Annual Fastener Show. June 16, at the Belvedere Banquet Centre in Elk Grove, IL. A popular tabletop event for fastener manufacturers and other stakeholders, followed by a networking bash in the evening and a golf outing the next day.
  • International Fastener Expo 2020. 28 to 30, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The largest business-to-business gathering of stakeholders in industrial fasteners, tooling, and machinery in North America.

With this level of exposure in the industry, we hope to raise awareness of our new capabilities in manufacturing drop-forged hardware products.

Our company has come a long way since our founder, Rich Kovach, established it in a humble 20-by-20-foot garage in Cleveland, way back in 1970. Today, we occupy 450,000 square feet in Jefferson, OH, and the growth continues. We look forward to new expansion as we forge ahead into the future.
