KabelSchlepp products are perfect for cranes and conveyor equipment.

KabelSchlepp is a member of the Tsubaki group, with an inventory of chains and cable carriers for use in several different industries. The manufacturer has been a leader in these areas for more than 50 years and continues to supply top-quality products.

One sector that benefits highly from KabelSchlepp’s work in Canada is cranes and material handling. With the help of KabelSchlepp products, workers can rely on machinery that transports goods with minimal breakdown.

Varitrak chains and more

Cranes, conveyor systems, and other means of handling materials are essential to the production of many industries, including construction and oil and gas. This machinery moves and positions material with little human effort required, but it cannot function without strong, durable chains and cable carriers. KabelSchlepp supplies the right products to keep this mechanical equipment going with minimal downtime.

KabelSchlepp chains and cable carriers are ideal for rubber tire gantries, ship-to-shore cranes, rail-mounted cranes, stacking cranes, and spreaders. There are four types of products that the company produces with these cranes and material-handling systems in mind:

  • Varitrak S/SX steel chains. Built to handle heavy mechanical loads and rough environments, these stable and robust chains have great unsupported lengths that can support large additional loads, while users can protect cables with optional aluminum or steel covers. Including highly stable chain link plates, link designs with multiple stroke system, and special bolts.
  • Varitrak MC cable carriers. Multi-variable carriers with a range of accessories and frame-stay variants, as well as a two-disc principle for reduced hinge wear, locking bolts for easy fitting, solid plate construction, and replaceable glide shoes. TÜV design complies with 2PfG 1036/10.97.
  • Quantum cable carriers. Lightweight, extremely quiet, low-vibration carriers built for travel speed of up to 40 metres per second and acceleration of up to 300 metres per second per second. Noise level of only 31 decibels. Suitable for clean rooms. Service life of at least 25 million cycles.
  • Uniflex cable carriers. These robust, cost-effective cable carriers have extremely high torsional rigidity, along with a range of opening cross-bar and cover options.
