Joystick features

The JC8000 comes standard with many features ideal for operating in physically demanding working conditions. It has a rugged, compact design with a centre detent that enables enhanced return-to-centre performance, a pivot-point position that minimizes grip cable flex, and an under panel depth of 78 millimetres. In addition, the unit also features high lever strength and superb proportional control.

The joystick is available with one- or two-axis configurations, analog or digital outputs, and is supplied with a non-contact Hall effect sensing system for maximum operational life of five million cycles. In addition, electronic robustness is assured with sealing of the internal PCB to a rating of IP69k. A range of ergonomic handle designs are available to suit the needs of the operator, while the base-only option enables custom grips to be fitted. Another bonus: it is easy to install and interchangeable with older models, including JC600 and JC6000.
