Seepex specializes in progressive cavity pumps.

Seepex is a leading manufacturer of pumps and other fluid-handling solutions, which are available to Canadian businesses from John Brooks Company Limited. Customers can select from three main families of Seepex pumping solutions – standard progressive cavity pumps, open hopper pumps, and metering pumps – as well as stators.

The Seepex line of progressive cavity pumps is especially recommended for the chemical and wastewater industries, specifically for municipal and industrial sewage in the latter.

Reversible rotation and flow

The basis for Seepex progressive cavity pumps is the N model, which is a popular choice in almost all industrial sectors. These pumps convey low-to-highly viscous media, with or without solids, which helps to ensure their economical operation. Among the other features and benefits of the N line: various rotor/stator geometries; low pulsation; uniform flow; high self-priming capabilities, even with a mixture of liquid and air or gas up to a nine-metre water column; numerous installation options; a large spherical entrance port; and reversible rotation and flow.

The T series of open hopper pumps handle viscous to semi-solid product with little or no flowability. Nine models are available from John Brooks Company, with multiple variations within each model, for virtually all industries. Each of these pumps has an open hopper and auger feed screw design, plus optimum product handling: the open hopper and auger feed screw are adjustable for every processing application. Maintenance is simple because of fast, easy access to the joints and plug-in connection.

With a metering accuracy of plus or minus one per cent, the Seepex D line of metering pumps are used wherever low-to-highly viscous media, media containing solids, or chemically corrosive media are processed, all with low pulsation and to the exact drop. The features and advantages of these six models include a modular system for fast and simple conversion, low pulsation pumping, and easy maintenance with a plug-in connection. Material combinations are available for all conveying products, and various drive combinations are possible.

Seepex stators are custom-manufactured for every size and pressure stage, with precisely crafted geometries produced in-house.
