API 675 Standard Pumps from John Brooks Company

Positive displacement pumps are among the many fluid handling solutions available from John Brooks Company Limited, and many of them meet the standards of the American Petroleum Institute. This includes two series of pumps that comply with the strict API 675 standard: the Hydra-Cell and PulsaPro lines of metering pumps.

These pump solutions are recommended for the oil and gas sector, for their safety, environmental friendliness, and sustainability.

High versatility, low cost

All Hydra-Cell metering pumps meet or exceed API 675 performance standards, with simple, elegant engineering blended with rugged construction. Offering accurate metering and dosing with virtually pulseless flow, these units provide high versatility at a low overall cost. These are compact, cost-efficient pump systems for high-performance metering tasks.

Hydra-Cell pumps include a replenishment valve in every piston assembly, which ensures optimum actuating oil volume on every diaphragm stroke for better accuracy. Their state-of-the-art design features reduce acquisition expenses, and their long-lasting durability offers economy and value over their full operational lifespans. John Brooks Company carries the complete line, with maximum flow ranging from 27 to 890.3 gallons per hour, metallic pump heads with maximum pressure from 1,000 to 2,500 pounds per square inch (psi), and non-metallic pump heads with maximum pressure of 350 psi.

PulsaPro hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps are positive displacement, reciprocating units that blend the high efficiency of a plunger pump with the sturdiness of a diaphragm seal, to prevent leaks. Each offers high accuracy and repeatability with the reliability of a five-year drive train warranty. They come in a broad variety of materials and diaphragm designs while providing a diverse range of liquid-handling solutions.

This line is an upgrade of the popular Pulsa series, but with expanded performance, better robustness, and extra features to simplify maintenance and function. It offers flows of up to 1,022 litres per hour, pressure of up to 5,100 psi, temperatures of up to 135 degrees Celsius, and viscosity of up to 1,000 centipoise. Watch this video for a closer look:
