The Quick Connect principle involves using pull rings to achieve the quickest installation and maximum tightness in Jacob tubing. With only a few fast turns of the hand, users instantly joint two sections of tube together or separate them. This is a great benefit, especially in applications in which workers must dismantle tubing on a regular basis for cleaning or maintenance.

Quick Connect pull rings are available with or without sealant. Very easy to assemble, Jacob’s pull-ring system gives every tubing system high stability and leak tightness because of its high-quality construction. The pull rings have been tested in conjunction with Jacob’s U-shaped gaskets, while the air leakage per connection (measured at a differential pressure of 7.25 pounds per square inch – with a diameter of 12 inches, for example) is well below the admissible values of DIN EN 12237, class D.

Combined with the U-shaped gasket, the pull-ring system is condensate leak-proof when configured accordingly, up to a diameter of ND 12 inches. This makes this tubing perfect for extracting oil mist and similar applications. These pull-ring connections are also an ideal pick for conveying bulk goods and for ventilation systems at overpressures of up to 7.25 pounds per square inch, 197 inches WC. Depending on the product selected, vacuum applications are also possible on request.
