Dobco carries the MVA | MOVO series of ARO air motors by Ingersoll Rand.

Dobco Equipment supplies a variety of ARO industrial air motors manufactured by Ingersoll Rand (IR). What makes these air motors stand out is the way they create power from the natural environment, making them flexible, efficient alternatives to electric sources with many added benefits. IR produces more than 200 models of these motors, with varying levels of power and an extensive lineup of options, to suit a broad range of applications.

Workhorses in almost any environment

Two of the more powerful series of IR ARO industrial air motors are the MVA | MOVO series and the DD-KK series. Both of these models are workhorses in almost any environment and withstand the harshest work conditions with ease.

Easy to service, the MVA | MOVO series consists of direct-drive vane motors available in face, flange, foot, and nema mounting options. Users can set these motors at variable speeds and torques, and some models come with modifications that allow for use with natural gas. These are durable motors that meet the strict ATEX standard for safety in explosive environments.

Dobco also offers the DD-KK series, which consists of versatile motors that can handle variable speeds and torques without overheating; instant starting and stopping are also not a problem. These are direct and geared-drive piston motors for improved air consumption, featuring a radial piston design that is perfect for winch and hoist-type applications.

ARO industrial air motors also offer cool running characteristics, great design flexibility, and operational safety in hazardous conditions due to the absence of heat buildup and sparks. As long as users provide a clean, dry, lubricated air supply, these motors are also easy to maintain. An additional advantage of many of these units is that they are stackable, which enables additional gear reductions.

IR offers more than 200 catalogued models of ARO air motors, ranging from 0.1 to 30 in horsepower, 23 to 26,000 revolutions per minute in speed, and 0.1 to 1,090 foot-pounds in torque. Options available for varying applications include reversible and non-reversible types, vane or piston configurations, and geared and non-geared varieties.
