Two models, multiple features

IPEX carries both PVC and CPVC ventilation ducts, available in sizes from six to 24 inches. The ducts are ideal for use in a variety of applications, including semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment plants, and metal plating and finishing.

The PVC model is designed for use in industrial and institutional fume handling systems requiring high resistance to corrosive vapours. This includes plating, metal finishing and laboratory installations. It features extruded seamless PVC duct in all standard diameters from six through 24 inches. The duct is lightweight, which allows for longer runs of the duct, as well as a speedy installation with simple tools and piping techniques. Another bonus is low maintenance requirements over extended service periods.

The CPVC model features extruded seamless CPVC duct in all standard diameters from six through 16 inches. CPVC withstands exhaust temperatures up to 93 degrees C (200 degrees F), and is inert to most mineral acids, bases, salts and andaliphatic hydrocarbons. With these features, the duct compares favourably to other non-metals in corrosive chemical environments. Ideal applications include chemical processing, semiconductor fabrication, metal plating and finishing, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment plants, and laboratory installations. Like the PVC model, it is lightweight, which makes it easier to handle and install, reducing transportation and labour costs. CPVC ducts also have low maintenance requirements over extended service periods.
