The Gen4 is designed to eliminate static electricity at a level 25 per cent higher than that of previous models – by taking on larger charges more quickly.

Fits into confined spaces

Paper, plastics, and other items can attract dust and foreign material that can diminish product appearance, cause tearing or jamming, or zap employees. The Gen4 ionizing bar produces fast static decay with a high concentration of positive and negative ions, to neutralize any charged surface less than 102 millimetres away from it. This way, the electrically powered bar can significantly improve production speed, product quality, surface cleanliness, and occupational health and safety.

With its compact design, the Gen4 can fit into many tight spaces in machinery, using an integrated mounting flange, where charges are generated. Special design features that distinguish this ionizing bar from competing products include a metal armoured high-voltage cable to prevent abrasion and cuts, integrated ground connection, and electromagnetic shielding. The bar’s electrical ion source is shockless and has no radioactive element.

The Gen4 is recommended for such applications as surface cleaning, neutralizing plastics, opening bags, printing machinery, packaging operations, and eliminating shocks from static electricity. EXAIR has had independent laboratory tests conducted on the Gen4 to confirm that it complies with strict international health and safety standards: it is certified according to UL, CE, and RoHS.
