EXAIR Corporation is the name that businesses across North America recognize when they need the widest selection of compressed-air equipment. The company’s broad portfolio of products includes an impressive lineup of solutions for static elimination, a common need in manufacturing. To this family, EXAIR has added the Intellistat ion air gun.
Designed for use in scientific and electronic test facilities, laboratories, clean rooms, and other sterile environments, the new Intellistat is a handheld, lightweight solution for static elimination in clean processes, test procedures, and sensitive assembly work.
Exceptional static decay rates
The EXAIR team has designed this patent-pending ion air gun to consume minimal compressed air as it delivers precise blow-off at the same time, neutralizing static and removing troublesome particulates. It offers exceptional static decay rates that can reduce 1,000 volts to less than 100 in under one second, at up to two feet away, and it has a +/-30-volt balance.
The user activates the Intellistat with a comfortable, ergonomic short-throw, quick-acting trigger with little effort required, and its light weight of only 200 grams enables extended use with no fatigue. The device is built with a low voltage transformer that converts 120 or 240 volts to 24 volts to ensure user safety; one can add an EXAIR engineered air nozzle to maximize efficiency and comply with the sound-level and dead-end-pressure requirements of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The Intellistat Ion Air Gun also has a red/green LED to indicate proper functionality, plus a hook for easy hanging and storage. It is made of durable static dissipative polycarbonate and demonstrates its power in tasks that require non-conductivity, like testing or manufacturing circuit boards and other electronics.
A dependable, low-maintenance solution, the Intellistat is UL-listed and CE-compliant. It is the latest member of EXAIR’s popular Gen4 series of static eliminators – a lineup that includes Super Ion Air Knives, Ion Air Cannons, Ion Air Guns, Ionizing Bars and Ionizing Points.
Prices for the Intellistat start at US$790.
