Features and advantages

One of the top features of EXAIR’s 1/2 NPT internal mix atomizing spray nozzles is their versatility. They are easily adjusted to meet the specific needs of each application, they have the capability to provide high liquid flows up to 303 GPH, and they are available with multiple spray patterns. For example, narrow angle round patterns are ideal for spraying a concentrated mist of liquid, while wide angle round patterns are better suited for covering a broad area. The flat fan pattern is best for vertical or horizontal assembly lines, while the deflected flat fan pattern is ideal for applications with limited space. A 360-degree hollow circular pattern is also available for applications where the spray pattern must be oriented away from the nozzle in all directions.

These 1/2 NPT internal mix atomizing spray nozzles can be used to coat, cool, treat and paint a variety of products using compressed air and liquids with a viscosity of up to 300 centipoise. When used with water, atomizing nozzles can evenly cool hot items in automated processes. They are also commonly used with light oils, rust inhibitors, chemicals, paints and dyes.
