The ISG isolated signal conditioner is ideal for manipulating analog signals to meet the requirements of subsequent processing in environmental or structural measurement applications in many industries. Durham Instruments recommends this device for use in general manufacturing, aerospace, automation, food processing, forestry, education, healthcare, the military, mining, packaging, power generation, alternative energy, transportation, and research and development.

This conditioner includes options for multiple outputs, namely plus or minus five or ten VDC and 4-20mA. It also has an adjustable filter ranging from one hertz (Hz) to one kilohertz (kHz), with an optional expansion of up to ten kilohertz. Other notable features of the ISG are as follows:

• Voltage supply of ten to 30 VDC;
• Space-saving narrow housing per DIN EN 50022;
• Compatibility with inputs of up to 4.5 millivolts (mV) per volt;
• Increased dynamics of five kHz-3 dB or ten kHz-3 dB;
• Excitation of five volts less than or equal to 60 MA;
• Power ripple of less than ten per cent, performance ripple of less than 20 mV;
• Ability to operate in temperatures from zero to 60 degrees Celsius;
• Protection level of IP20;
• Screw terminal; and
• Maximum bandwidth of 1,000 Hz.

The ISG isolated signal conditioner is only 23 by 111 by 76 millimetres, making it very easy to handle.
