Innovative: These products contain a number of features that set them apart from other instruments. For example, they are inherently linear, which means that no linearization circuitry is employed. In addition, the units incorporate a removable sensor module that can easily be replaced when needed, though the sensor tube is less likely to be clogged due to its large, .026-inch internal diameter. The flowmeter also offers low differential pressure drop, making it ideal for leak detection applications. Another bonus: the unit has very fast settling times and low thermal drift.

Accurate: The 300 Series is designed to accurately measure mass flow without corrections or compensations for gas pressure and temperature. The units are accurate to better than ±0.75 per cent of full-scale for .005 to 10 slm and ±1.0 per cent of full-scale for 10 to 25 slm.

Easy to maintain: THI mass flow instruments do not require any periodic maintenance under normal operating conditions with clean gases, as no damage will occur from the use of moderate overpressures or overflows. Instruments are normally calibrated with the nitrogen, then a gas conversion factor is used to adjust the output for the intended gas. Special calibrations for other gases, such as oxygen, helium and argon, are available upon special order.

Versatile: The units can be employed across a range of applications, including leak testing, research, vapour deposition, R&D and process flows, semiconductor processes, pollution monitoring, gas blending and chromatography.
