On top of standard direct drive mode, the user can independently program each tool configuration to use one of three available single-parameter ETS modes: ergonomic mode, with low energy pulses for hard joints or difficult arm, wrist, and tool angles; performance mode, an all-purpose mode with medium pulses; and productivity mode, the quickest mode, with high pulses for soft joints or high production rates.
