pavement breakers

Dobco carries pavement breakers by Ingersoll Rand.

Dobco Equipment is Canada’s source for innovative construction equipment by Ingersoll Rand (IR), which has revolutionized this field for more than 150 years. The IR portfolio of products includes balancers, wrenches, chain hoists, motors, and much more – as well as two series of powerful pavement breakers.

What makes IR pavement breakers stand out in the market is a higher level of power and fewer parts than similar equipment from competitors.

Good for various applications

IR has designed these tools in a specific effort to boost construction productivity with a higher level of power, while also cutting user costs significantly by reducing the amount of parts and items that wear out quickly. By raising production and lowering replacement and maintenance expenses at the same time, these breakers provide higher advantages than any others do.

The two IR series of pavement breakers available from Dobco are the MX series and the PB series. A major benefit of both series is the Power-Strok piston, which delivers a powerful, high-energy output, and costly side rods and springs are unnecessary due to these tools’ unique one-piece housing.

The MX series includes the manufacturer’s most versatile breakers, including the MX60 and MX90 models, which are highly recommended for a wide range of construction applications, like heavy asphalt removal, industrial maintenance, or heavy demolition. This equipment has directional exhaust that prevents blowback, as well as one of the smallest numbers of parts in the industry, making it easy and simple to service. A “flex handle” option is available to help reduce vibration, in addition to the standard handle, while the drop-in composite valve cartridge prevents rust. MX breakers are strong enough to handle the harshest environments and repeated drops.

The PB series includes the PB35 and PB50 models, which perfectly suit bridge-deck resurfacing, general demolition, and a variety of other projects. The PB35AL8 and PB35AS8 are especially right for lightweight concrete demolition. The standard flex handle on each breaker offers optimal user comfort and helps increase productivity. Despite their high power, PB breakers have mufflers that cut back on noise production.
