Game-changing feature

The IGAR 6 is a smart pyrometer with three operating modes — one-colour, two-colour and Smart mode. One-colour mode is for applications in temperatures ranging from 100 to 2,000 degrees C, while two-colour mode is for operating temperatures from 250 to 2,000 degrees C. The unit also has the capability to operate in Smart mode, which allows it to automatically and seamlessly transition from single- to two-colour operation for optimal performance.

Additional features

There are many other features that make the IGAR 6 an ideal solution for use in harsh environments. The robust unit is constructed of stainless steel (IP65/ NEMA4) and has a very fast two-millisecond response time for highly dynamic processes.

In addition, it is equipped with a built-in “dirty window” warning, and features automatic emissivity determination. It also incorporates a fully digital core for sub-ranging and adopted analog output, best-in-class optics with manual focus capability, and a four-digit LED display.
