Top quality design and construction

Every N.R. Murphy fan is manufactured to exacting design specifications using the best materials. For example, the fan housing is constructed with heavy gauge steel and braced with steel angles. The scroll wrap is continuously welded to the side plates for a rugged and dust-tight casing. In addition, the heavy-duty, self-aligning pillow block bearings are securely fastened to a strong plate pedestal. A wide range of options are also available for applications that require heavy abrasive materials and spark resistance.

Each of the company’s industrial exhaust fans have balanced wheels, which have been carefully designed, tested and manufactured for maximum performance. Each wheel is statically and dynamically balanced for smooth operation.

The lineup

Many types and sizes of fans are available. Model EH is the best option for heavy-duty material handling, while models EM-1 and EH-1 are more suitable for light-duty handling. Model EA-1, on the other hand, is ideal for air handling. Each wheel design has different characteristics for different applications. N.R. Murphy’s standard industrial exhaust fans are capable of handling air up to 315 degrees C (600 degrees F).
