Industrial butyl tape reliably joins and seals a wide range of surfaces

High strength

Denso Butyl Mastic Tape is a 100 per cent solids, non-hardening, thick butyl-based sealant tape that offers an aggressive surface tack and high tensile strength when joining and sealing together a variety of surfaces, including polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, concrete, metal, wood and cadwelds. Its properties provide an immediate bond.

Easy application

This double-sided adhesive is available in black rolls on easily removable release paper. The tape is easy to apply by hand with minimal surface preparation. The user simply removes dust, dirt and grease from the surface, peels off the release paper and applies the tape to the desired surface. No primer is needed.

Denso Butyl Mastic Tape has an aggressive grip, yet stays flexible and has excellent conformability and consistent uniform thickness. It is non-shrinking and non-corrosive, and can be used in a wide range of temperatures. It is part of Denso’s lineup of bitumen and butyl tapes for above- and below-ground pipeline corrosion protection, weld joints, fittings, fabrications and repair of geomembranes.
