Chevrier carries three kinds of TSI IAQ meters.

TSI Incorporated products are available to Canadian businesses through Chevrier Instruments Inc., a major supplier of test and measurement solutions. This lineup includes three models from the TSI family of indoor air-quality meters – the IAQ-CALC Models 7515, 7525, and 7545, all outstanding devices for investigating and monitoring air quality in indoor workplaces.

These instruments are recommended for many common industrial applications, like indoor air quality (IAQ) evaluation, verification of HVAC system performance in buildings, examination of IAQ conditions in buildings to optimize worker productivity, and regulation or guidance compliance.

With low-drift, non-dispersive infrared sensors

The IAQ-CALC Model 7515 is the perfect cost-effective option for measurement of carbon dioxide, or CO2, and Models 7525 and 7545 each can measure and data-log multiple parameters at the same time. Both of the latter two models can measure CO2, temperature, and humidity and calculate dew point, wet bulb temperature, and percentage outside air. The Model 7545 can also detect carbon monoxide, or CO.

For stable and accurate readings, all three of these TSI air-quality meters have low-drift, non-dispersive infrared sensors. Each of these devices from Chevrier also has a sampling function that records multiple point measurements, as well as an ergonomic, over-moulded case design.

Features and benefits of the Models 7525 and 7545 include the following:

  • Temperature and relative humidity measurements, to help determine thermal comfort
  • Calculation of percentage outside air from CO2 or temperature
  • Direct calculation of dew point and wet bulb temperatures
  • Ability to display up to three parameters
  • TSI LogDat2 software, which enables easy transfer of data to a computer
  • Statistics function that displays average, maximum, and minimum values, plus the amount of recorded samples

The Model 7545 also features an electromechanical sensor that measures CO; information can be reviewed onscreen or downloaded to a computer to generate reports easily. Among the specifications of the Models 7525 and 7545: weight of 270 grams with batteries; size of 17.8 by 1.9 centimetres; four AA batteries or an AC adapter required; operating temperatures from five to 45 degrees Celsius; and storage temperatures from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius.
