incline conveyors

Norpak Handling carries Hytrol SBI incline conveyors.

A proud Integration Partner with Hytrol Conveyor Company, Norpak Handling supplies the manufacturer’s world-class conveyor products throughout Canada. This includes Hytrol’s line of Model SBI floor-to-floor incline conveyors, available in a large variety of widths and heights to accommodate a wide range of material-handling needs in any facility.

Each of these channel frame slider bed incline conveyors is equipped with an adjustable double nose-over at the discharge end, which creates a smooth transfer from the incline to the horizontal plane.

Easily adjustable incline angle

Users of the SBI conveyors can easily adjust the incline angle by up to 30 degrees, depending on the application. With its high level of versatility, this equipment can also double as a booster conveyor in gravity-flow systems.

The SBI series can handle a capacity of up to 1,245 pounds, or 100 pounds per linear foot. Each bed is 6½ inches deep by 12 ga. and formed steel frame powder painted, with standard sections available in lengths of six, eight, and ten feet. The conveyors have belt widths of three, four, or five feet. Other major features of these incline conveyors include the following:

  • Three bed widths;
  • Centre drive;
  • Reversibility;
  • Brake kit;
  • System ends;
  • Pop-out roller;
  • Powered feeder; and
  • Undertrussing (three, four, and five-foot OAW from stockyard only).

Optional equipment available for these incline conveyors include: adjustable MS-type floor supports; ceiling hangers; brown polymate roughtop belts with nitrile covers; O-ring drive chains; adjustable guard rails; pulleys; energy-efficient, single-phase motors; and electrical controls, such as non-reversing and reversible magnetic starters and pushbutton stations. Variable belts speeds are also possible, and V-belt drives are supplied on speeds lower than 20 feet per minute and 46 feet per minute.

Hytrol supplies an online 20-page manual for installation and maintenance. With the SBI incline conveyor, material handling becomes a smooth and efficient process.
