Now, Norpak is making a new Hytrol breakthrough available to Canadian businesses: the NBEZ, industry’s first all-electric narrow-belt accumulation conveyor. This groundbreaking product uses magnets for the accumulation process instead of the standard pneumatics, helping users to reduce costs and energy significantly.

Making operations smoother and easier

Holding a unique and coveted position in the conveyor world, the NBEZ uses up less energy to operate than pneumatic models do, and users no longer require air supply or accessories for pneumatics, which lowers their expenses. Another key advantage of this narrow-belt accumulation conveyor is that its drive pulley has a back-wrap, which makes belt replacement a far more efficient process.

The NBEZ also gives users longer conveyor runs for one drive, and it includes 12-foot channels, a roller set low design with built-in guard rails, and a viewing window built into the channel to allow the operator to check on the machine’s belt tension effortlessly – all without having to shut down the equipment. Finally, conveyor works seamlessly with the Hytrol EZLogic accumulation system.

With all of these innovative features, this narrow-belt accumulation conveyor makes facility and warehouse operations smoother and easier to manage, by reducing the costs of operation and installation while eliminating downtime. Hytrol expects this conveyor to be a game changer that will benefit industry massively. Due to its proficiency at pushing the envelope in innovation, Hytrol recently received another patent, no. 10,081,492, from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
