The 199-CRR live roller conveyor by Hytrol

Norpak Handling is a proud Hytrol Integration Partner, which means that it supplies innovative Hytrol Conveyor Company material-handling systems to Canadian businesses – as well as a full range of customer services from installation to maintenance. The Norpak team offers ample options, since conveyor solutions offer different features among them. One product, the Hytrol Model 199-CRR live roller conveyor, is the recommended choice for work environments that are oily or slippery.

Available in 11 standard widths

To work for a broad variety of conveying tasks, the Model 199-CRR is available in 11 standard widths. Hytrol has designed its features for optimal performance in applications that may involve oily parts. In this kind of environment, a standard live roller model may have difficulty, as the oil may prevent belts from driving the rollers. But the rollers in the Model 199-CRR are positively driven with chains roll-to-roll, so the presence of oil does not affect them.

This live roller conveyor has chains and sprockets located on the ends of the rollers that drive them positively. As a result, there is open space under the rollers where the conveying surface lies. The purpose of this is to catch falling particles from machining operations and stopping them from getting lodged in components. Because of this feature, the Model 199-CRR is also ideal for handling of used automotive and equipment parts that involve debris like dirt or oil.

Hytrol constructs these rollers out of heavy wall tubing that is located on six or four-inch centres, depending on the material that the live roller conveyor will be handling. The unit has a capacity of up to 150 pounds per foot with supports on ten-foot centres, or 250 pounds per foot with supports on five-foot centres and four-inch roller centres. The customer also has the option to outfit the Model 199-CRR with an underside drive or shaft-mounted drive.

The Model 199-CRR is just one of the many great Hytrol material-handling solutions available from the Norpak inventory. The supplier offers a diverse group of conveyors from this and many other high-quality international manufacturers.
