This portfolio includes the Series 300 elastomer piping expansion joints, which are specially handcrafted and designed to absorb motion and displacement between pipe flanges.

The HOLZ Series 300 consists of one-piece, elastomer piping expansion joints with an exclusive H-R double-protected construction. Like other HOLZ non-metallic joints, they have been constructed out of the finest materials with painstaking fabrication techniques since 1962.

Right for wastewater, slurry, sludge

Series 300 joints have been used and proven in tough services for years, and their ability to absorb motion and displacement makes them ideal for pipe-flange applications involving high shock and vibration. Recommended for applications involving wastewater, slurry, or sludge, these expansion joints can withstand temperatures of up to 148 degrees Celsius, while the Viton tube/cover can handle up to 200 degrees Celsius.

Available in sizes from ½ to 108, Series 300 joints each have a tube constructed with a protective, leak-proof lining made out of synthetic or natural rubber. The tube prevents materials from penetrating the carcass or body, which is made of fabric, or metal when necessary. The expansion joint also has a cover, carcass fabric reinforcement that acts as the flexibility and supporting member between tube and cover, and metal reinforcement consisting of wire or solid steel rings imbedded in the carcass for strengthening.
