Quality principles and values

First, MOCAP always adheres to the strict expectations of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) when making its protective items. Two different organizations have certified the company according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard – Intertek and SGS. The former has assessed MOCAP’s quality-management system and determined that the company has met this standard for manufacturing and/or processing dip-moulded, injection-moulded, compression-moulded, and extruded products for multiple applications. Meanwhile, SGS has deemed that MOCAP complies with the standard for producing plastic caps and plugs.

ISO 9001:2015 is part of the ISO 9000 series on quality management. The ISO has based these standards on many quality principles and values, such as strong client focus, the motivation and implication of top management, a process approach, and ongoing improvement. MOCAP continues to manufacture and supply the best protective items on the industrial market by exemplifying all of these traits.

Another high international standard to which MOCAP adheres is the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, or the RoHS Directive. This is a strict European standard regarding material safety, which came into effect in 2006. RoHS restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of many products, particularly electrical and electronic equipment, with some exceptions.

By complying with RoHS, MOCAP ensures that all of its products are environmentally friendly and safe to use. All of its customers are invited to request RoHS certification for any materials or parts they order.
