The Rust-Oleum 9200 System epoxy

The Rust-Oleum 9200 System Low-Temperature Epoxy is a very versatile two-component phenalkamine epoxy with low volatile organic compounds and low hazardous air pollutants.

Suitable for a variety of substrates and with excellent wetting characteristics, the 9200 System low-temperature epoxy can be applied at low temperatures and can tolerate damp surfaces.

The 9200 System is available in an 18.9-litre pail size, in four different colours – grey, white, blue, or safety yellow – which are short-filled to allow the addition of the one-gallon activator (yielding five gallons of activated material).

Suited for water immersion service

The 9200 System low-temperature epoxy dries quickly and is compatible with a wide variety of Rust-Oleum topcoats. This epoxy is also suited for water immersion service and certified for use in potable water storage tanks that are of 3,000-gallon capacity or greater (excluding safety yellow). This is a two-component system, which requires ordering both base and activator. The safety yellow is not certified for potable water service.

Non-immersion

A self-priming, direct-to-metal (DTM), high-build epoxy, the 9200 System is a low-temperature cure, with excellent anti-corrosion protection and excellent surface wetting. Other key advantages of this powerful epoxy include good early moisture resistance and an extended recoat window for atmospheric exposures. The 9200 System low-temperature epoxy has been certified for use in potable water storage tanks, according to the ANSI/NSF Std. 61 (excluding safety yellow).
