The RFH general purpose hose by Hi-Tech Duravent

With one of the country’s widest ranges of hosing and ducting products, Hi-Tech Duravent offers hoses for a broad variety of applications – from specific tasks to general use. This impressive inventory includes the RFH series: a black general purpose hose with unsurpassed versatility, plus high chemical and abrasion resistance.

The RFH series is recommended for many common workplace applications in various sectors, making it the most versatile hose available on the industrial market.

From seeding to leaf blowing

This general purpose hose is a wise choice for customers in the aerospace, agriculture, grounds-maintenance, woodworking, metal-processing, municipal, plastics, and shipyard industries. Hi-Tech Duravent recommends the RFH line for such tasks as cotton harvesting, fume removal, leaf blowing, oil-mist collection, seeding, and ventilation.

This hose series is constructed out of thermoplastic rubber, which is reinforced with a wire helix, and without including any cement, glue, or adhesives. The RFH series comes with many strong user benefits, like a high level of resistance to abrasion, chemicals, moisture, ozone, and ultraviolet rays, as well as a high amount of compressibility, which makes them very easy to use in various space sizes and simple to store. Another advantage of this general purpose hose is that it can handle temperatures from -51.11 to 135 degrees Celsius. Customers can request cuffed-end finishes if required or desired.

The RFH group comes in standard lengths of 25 and 50 feet, with 20 different sizes available too. External diameters range from 1¼ inches to two feet – or 31¾ to 609.6 millimetres – while inner diameters go from 1½ to 18 inches. Other technical specifications: CL bend radius from five inches to three feet; compress ratio from one foot by four inches to one foot by nine inches; vacuum of one to 29+ inches of mercury; wall thickness from 0.026 to 0.03 inches; weight from 0.11 to 3.81 pounds per foot; and working pressure from one to 28 pounds per square inch.

Trust Hi-Tech Duravent – an industrial brand of Flexible Technologies – for this and other innovative hosing solutions.
