Customers can choose from an unmatched lineup of hosing and ducting products from Hi-Tech Duravent. The selection includes two models of static elimination hoses: the UFD-SD and the SDH. Sand, plastic pellets, and powder can create static when they move through hoses, so these hoses are specially built with a static-dissipative thermoplastic polyurethane. The SDH is very useful in plastics processing, and both designs are highly recommended for the agriculture, food-processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial woodworking sectors.
Resisting abrasion, ozone, and punctures
The UFD-SD is built for static-dissipative collection of dust and chips, with polyurethane reinforced with a wire helix. It is the perfect choice for clean rooms, grain-dust collection, and powder and flour handling. Among its major benefits are high flexibility, transparency, FDA-acceptable material, and lack of fillers, halogens, and surface oils. The UFD-SD also does not out-gas.
Available in six different sizes, the UFD-SD is one of Hi-Tech Duravent’s core products. Its diameter ranges from 50.8 to 304.8 millimetres (mm), and it can function in temperatures from -28 to 93 degrees Celsius. Standard lengths of 25 or 50 feet are available for this model.
SDH static elimination hoses are built from static-dissipative thermoplastic polyurethane reinforced with a plastic, opaque helix and copper grounding wire. This model is designed for pellet transfer and static-dissipative dust and chip collection, and it is ideal for clean rooms, powder, and transferring plastic pellets. Like the UFD-SD hose, the SDH offers high flexibility, abrasion resistance, and clarity, is made of FDA-acceptable materials, does not out-gas, and is free of fillers, halogens, and surface oils. This hose is distinguished by its smooth interior and is available with screw-on cuffs.
Hi-Tech Duravent supplies the SDH hose in eight sizes, and diameters go from 19.05 to 101.6 mm. The two smallest sizes have no static wire. It is also available in standard lengths of 25 or 50 feet, and it can be used in temperatures ranging from -28 to 82 degrees Celsius.
Both of these static elimination hoses resist abrasion, ozone, oil, punctures, and ultraviolet rays.
