Key features

The Model SL Steel Belt Slat Conveyor has a maximum load capacity of 1,400 pounds per linear foot of conveyor, and offers a constant conveying speed of 30 feet per minute. This is thanks to the unit’s many best-in-class features, including its two-horsepower motor, its energy-efficient C-Face and AC variable-speed controller with soft start capability and motor overload protection, its heavy-duty sealed worm gear C-Face speed reducer, and its end drive, which is located at the discharge end of the conveyor.

The unit’s formed steel slats are 5-¾ by 1-½ inches, while its six-inch pitch-bushed roller steel chain has a two-inch diameter high-capacity roller bearing. The conveyor is available with a 17-inch deep formed steel channel powder painted bed, and widths ranging from 36 to 54 inches. The unit comes in standard five- and 10-foot long sections, which can be bolted together with butt couplings.

Optional equipment

A variety of optional equipment is also available to complement the Model SL Steel Belt Slat Conveyor, and to meet the needs of each unique application. For example, fixed floor supports can be ordered. In addition, the conveyor is available with wood slats, a three-horsepower motor, as well as other constant and variable speeds. It is important to note, though, that capacity is affected when a different speed is selected.
