Designed for interactive vehicle testing in rough work environments, the SomatXR CX22B-R data recorder stores measured information reliably in this and other applications. It can record data from other SomatXR modules with a simple Ethernet connection, while FireWire can enable a direct info transmission to a PC computer.

The SomatXR CX22B-R includes many special features and benefits, including an open Windows platform, 180-gigabyte storage capacity, IP65/IP67 protection from water and dust, high resistance to dew, vibration, and shock, an integrated uninterruptible power supply for fail-safe operation, and a working temperature range from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius. It is an ultra-rugged, user-friendly device with an integrated WLAN module for wireless communication. In addition to other SomatXR modules, users can also connect GPS cameras and DVI touchscreens.

System configuration is easy, with such options as trigger, computation, virtual channels, and signal analysis. Many interfaces are possible, including LAN, WLAN, USB and digital I/O. There is supply voltage of ten to 30 volts, with no fan.
