HazLoc cabinet coolers by EXAIR

EXAIR Corporation always aims to break new technological ground, such as making its electrical control panels more safe and effective with its cabinet coolers. Last year, the company launched a new line of hazardous location cabinet coolers, recommended for use in dangerous work environments. Right now, customers have access to a special offer from EXAIR – a free AC sensor with every purchase of any cabinet cooler, including this series.

The highest efficiency of operation

Thermostatically controlled systems that function with the highest efficiency of operation, these HazLoc cooler systems are distinguished by their Underwriters Laboratories (UL) classified designation for Division 1 environments. They also have UL-listed solenoids, also recommended for dangerous environments. The systems have been designed to install on any purged enclosure in a matter of minutes, with little or no maintenance necessary. HazLoc cabinet coolers meet the requirements of any customer who needs low-cost, dependable, user-friendly coolers that operate in the toughest of industrial conditions.

Hazardous location cabinet coolers have been engineered and approved for use in purged electrical enclosures in appropriate classified areas. This includes Class I Division 1 (Groups A, B, C, and C), Class II Division 1 (Groups E, F, and G), and all of Class III. UL has tested these EXAIR systems thoroughly and deemed them to be compliant with its most stringent requirements for these dangerous areas.

EXAIR hazardous location cabinet coolers employ vortex technology to produce up to 5,600 Btu an hour with no moving parts. This results in a minimal-maintenance solutions for cooling purged cabinets. The units operate with NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X enclosures to maintain cool operating temperatures for purged and pressurized controllers, never compromising panel integrity.

HazLoc coolers are available in eight different cooling capacities, from 1,000 to 5,600 Btu per hour. They provide a range that can fit any cooling requirements without exerting needless demand on air compressors, and they offer an inexpensive, reliable way to cool purged electric control panels in dangerous work environments.
