Available in three- and four-inch NPT port sizes, this electric motor-driven trash pump by Gorman-Rupp is built from heavy-duty cast iron, with replaceable ductile iron impellers and a carbon steel wearplate.

Easy removal of trash, debris

The 13C3-E5 3P self-priming centrifugal pump includes a front cleanout design that enables easy removal of trash and debris, with no need to disconnect the piping. All models include Viton seals with carbon and Ni-resist faces, of which the latter are capable of handling fluids at temperatures of up to 71 degrees Celsius. Before ordering this pump, it is crucial to check this chemical-resistance chart for proper operation of it; if the customer uses this unit for an application with which the pump material is not compatible, this will invalidate the warranty.

This electric trash pump measures 76 by 76 mm in size and includes an alloy steel shaft sleeve, a neoprene flap valve with steel reinforcing, a grey iron removable cover plate that weighs seven kilograms, and gaskets in several materials: rubber, compressed synthetic fibres, and vegetable fibre. The hardware is made of standard plated steel. Motor types include open-drip-proof, squirrel cage, induction start, and induction run, with conduit box included.
